psychodynamic psychotherapy

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy in-person and online. At present (Spring / Summer 2026) I do not have any in-person availability, but this may change, please get in touch.
I have over a decade of experience, including several years as a psychotherapist in the NHS. I work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and recognise the importance of psychosocial factors. My practice is trauma-informed and neuroaffirming, rather than viewing conditions, or suspected conditions, through a deficit lens.
Alongside NHS work I see clients privately for once or twice weekly sessions. We can work in an open-ended way or for an agreed short-term period, depending on your needs. I tend to take a balanced approach between empathetic understanding and thoughtful challenge.
I work with adults throughout the lifespan. I am familiar with thinking about and working with issues that can arise at different ages and stages and consider attachment theory in my thinking. I am also keenly aware of climate anxiety and its global sociopolitical impact.
I trained at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, and hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London, both are BPC and BACP accredited trainings.
